What Could Happen If You Cyberbully

Cyber bullies could be sent to jail for up to three years under new Government proposals aimed at protecting victims of online bullying. It would also be an offence to send messages and post material online that was grossly offensive, indecent, obscene, menacing or knowingly false, punishable by up to three months imprisonment or a $2000 fine.

                                  What Is Cyber Bullying?
The Internet and mobile technology are very powerful. But if misused, they can also be dangerous to yourself and others. Most of the time we make sure that people are old enough and pass special tests before they drive cars, operate heavy machinery or otherwise use potentially powerful technology. This is for their safety and the safety of others.

What Can Cyberbullying do to you?
# threats,
# sending provocative insults or racial or ethnic slurs,
# gay-bashing,
# spreading rumors, lies and inappropriate photos,
# attempting to infect the victim's computer with a virus, and flooding an e-mail inbox with nonsense messages.

                                                                    What is cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying, as defined by Whatis.com, is use of email, instant messaging, chat rooms, pagers, cell phones, or other forms of technology to deliberately harass, threaten, or intimidate someone. Bullies can hide behind an electronic veil, disguising their true identity. This makes it difficult to trace the source, and encourages bullies to behave more aggressively than they might face-to-face.

Tim-Writing Sample

This is a writing sample that I have created. We have been given a sentence to put into our story.

Carefully taking steps down the path from the library, I could see the clouds enveloping the sky as the sun takes it's rest.  Looking around I could hear dead silence from my fellow people as they close down their houses when the moon shines brightly over the world.  Softly walking through the neighbourhood dogs howling like wolves wanting fresh meat for the pack.

There was only one way home Dusky Dark Ave. Coming to the street of Dusky Dark ave, where the moon never shines, also where no man or woman has seen light again. I could see nothing but shadow in the gloomy dark place.  Slowly strolling down the street, my body shivers from the tip of my toe to the top of my skull, still nothing had happen to me yet. Seeing nothing but darkness was trouble because no one was around. Suddenly I heard scratching but couldn't see  through the darkness. I switched my phone and shone it around to see if anyone was there. Frightenly jogging down the street I was hoping for it to end. Slowly a voice skimmed past my head “Help”. I looked back and saw a little girl with a white dress holding a back teddy with red eyes. Her face was pale like the moon. As I was looking up I could see tears dripping down from her face but they weren't ordinary tears because the colour of her tears were red. Then I heard the scratching again and realized it was just a cat. I Faced back towards  the little girl but she was gone. Quickly I ran for my life praying that I would see light.

Finally I could see light again and it made me glad that I could see the light. Morning came, as I was wiping the sleep off my face.Looking out I could see men building lights at Dusky Dark Ave because it wouldn't be so hard walking through.
